Berenson, Gerry A., 76, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Eric B. Berenson. Born in Philadelphia, she was the devoted daughter of Edythe J. (LeVay) Lamb and the late Harold W. Lamb.
Gerry was a loving mother to Michelle Berenson of Cranston and Louis Berenson and his partner, Amy Conrardy, of Bellingham, MA. She was a cherished sister to Carol Lamb of Florida and a dear sister-in-law to Lisa Berenson, also of Florida.
A longtime resident of Cranston for 50+ years, Gerry began her career as a dental assistant before transitioning into the field of human resources, where she worked in staffing and onsite management. She retired from HR work in 2010. After retirement, she gave and received joy from her children and grandchildren of a dear friend. Gerry also leaves a legacy of love and laughter while spending time with loved ones.
Gerry had a deep love for animals, which was evident in her home filled with her beloved cats and dogs. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and dedication to family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hebrew Volin Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, Boston, MA 02132. Shiva will be observed privately.
