Glen A. Niemuth, age 82, of Fremont, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at ThedaCare Medical Center in Appleton. He was born on October 3, 1942 in Fremont, WI, the son of the late Emil and Sadie(Miller)Niemuth. On June 1, 1963, Glen married Sandra VanAlstine at First Presbyterian Church on Oshkosh. Glen was a well known carpenter, building many homes and structures throughout the Weyauwgea, Fremont and surrounding areas. Glen was a hard working man and was loved and respected by many people. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing Hermie's machines at the local bars, and playing scratch off tickets.
Glen is survived by his wife, Sandy; four children, Greg (Chris) Niemuth, Tammie(Steve Milentz) Niemuth, Pam Niemuth and Jason Niemuth; 15 grandchildren, Tanner (Sarah) Niemuth, Tyra(Shane)Zabel, Tressa(John)Koch, Leah Niemuth, Brittany Ferg(Florian Rosera), Zephren Milentz(Jazmin), Dean (Erica Slack) Timm, Natascha Timm(Aaron), Alyssa (David) Whitenack, Rochelle Tietz, Jarret (Sophie) Tietz, Jayden Niemuth(Royce), Heidi Kohl(Fiance' Dan), Justen (Sarah) Niemuth and Jon (Tanya) Homan; 21 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gordon Niemuth, Charles (Marita) Niemuth and Robert (Janice) Niemuth; a sister, Eunice Kempf; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends, and his beloved furry companion, Bubby. He was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Niemuth, three brothers, Emil Jr., Lawrence and Kenneth Niemuth and a sister, Joyce Ludwig.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 5:00 pm at Lewin Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Fremont. Pastor Mark Drengler will officiate. Visitation will be held at Lewin Funeral Home on Thursday, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
Glen's family would like to thank the nursing staff at ThedaCare in Waupaca. His health struggles made for many visits to the hospital and the nurses took good care of him and could still keep up with his jokes and quick wit.
