Funeral services for Glenn Ellis "Bit" Stanley, 64, of Rayville, LA were held at 3:00 PM, Monday, July 21, 2025 at Start Baptist Church, Start, LA with Bro. Jeff Thomas and Drew Clack officiating. Interment was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Oak Ridge, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Glenn was born August 8, 1960 in Monroe, LA and passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 after a brief illness at his residence surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elsie Stanly; brothers, Carl Stanley and William Earl "Buck" Stanley; and sister-in-law, Sharon Tyree Marshall.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Sandy Stanley of Rayville, LA; children, Jordan Stanley and Kristin of Greenville, SC, Jarrett Stanley and wife, Lillie of Archibald, LA, and Lauryn Marshall of Rayville, LA; grandchildren, Avery Stanley, Grayson Stanley, Nora Stanley, Raylea LeBrun, and Michael LeBrun; siblings, Linda Littleton, Gerald Stanley, Melissa Atkins and husband, Jerry, Alvin Stanley and wife, Rosemary, and Rose Reddick and husband, Michael; sister-in-law, Denise Eppinette and husband, Sid; brother-in-law, Bryan Tyree and wife, Jackie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jordan Stanley, Jarrett Stanley, Bryan Tyree, Mike Thompson, Josh Cook, and Nathan O'Briant.

Honorary pallbearers were Andy Barham, James Hough, Richie Reddick, Charles Lee Greer, Howard Reese, Matt Hill, Danny Freeland, and Cotton Land Beagle Club.
