Gloria Louise Ginn Alewine, 86, spouse of David Lee Alewine, died Thursday June 26, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.
She was born in Bowman GA; she was the daughter of the late Jim Thomas and Fannie Sue Bowen Ginn. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Belton.
Surviving her in addition to the husband of the home; a daughter, Rhonda Hardy (Robert); grandchildren, Nathan Dale Pearson (Morgan) and Noah Hardy; great grandchildren, Delaney Pearson and Natalie Pearson; nephew, Joel Thomas Ginn (Betty).
She was preceded in death by a son Kenneth Dale Pearson; brothers, James Ginn, Lloyd Ginn and Bill Ginn; sisters, Margaret Payne Cordell, Immogene Vickory Campbell, Mattie Pearl Thompson, Ruby Nell Ginn and Dockey Bratcher Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Second Baptist Church Belton with Dr. Mitch Brooks and Rev. Jonathan Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.
The family will receive friends prior to service from 1:45 until 2:45 on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to Second Baptist Church Belton Shirley Bumpus Sunday School Class.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
