Gloria Smith was born Saturday, August 7, 1948 in Herrick, Illinois the daughter of William Elijah and Ruby May (maiden name Burrus) Beck. She was raised in Oconee and Pana attending Pana schools, and later received a GED. Gloria Jean Beck married William Joseph Smith in 1973 in Herrick, Illinois, and he died February 15, 2018. Gloria was a homemaker and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; and she was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, Lakewood.
Gloria Smith is survived by her Sons: Bobby Gene Beck of Cowden, Illinois and Steve Kilcrease of Herrick, Illinois; thirteen Grandchildren; and seventeen Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and Son: Bobby Dale Beck who died in infancy.
