Grace E. Hartz, 99, of Trenton, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Lawrence Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Lawrence Township, New Jersey.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Grace was a lifelong New Jersey resident and was a graduate of Trenton High School, Class of 1944. She was employed by The State of New Jersey in the Department of Unemployment and Disability for 12 years. Later in life, she worked for D&W, as well as ETS. Grace was a member of Central Baptist Church in Ewing, where she held the honor of oldest living member. She was involved with church events, enjoying time with her friends.
In her spare time, you could find Grace reading a good book or working on one of her sewing projects. She loved baking, especially Christmas cookies, a skill she learned from her mother and grandfather. Above all else, Grace adored her family and cherished every moment she spent with them.
Predeceased by her parents, Wallace B. and Frances E. (Muntz) Bogart and her husband, Warren F. Hartz, Jr.; her memory will be carried on by her daughter, Lois A. Moran and her husband, Richard D.; her son, Warren F. Hartz, III and his wife, Laurie K.; as well as her sister in law and nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 11:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. with funeral services to begin directly following at 12:15 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment will be in Colonial Memorial Park Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
