With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Grace Head. Also affectionately known as "Nanny". She passed Thursday, July 10, 2025 while resting peacefully in her home. Born on Christmas Eve, Grace brought light and warmth into the world from the very beginning. She was a woman of unwavering strength, fierce love, and a spirit that could never be tamed. She stepped in as a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many - always with a heart full of devotion and a voice that made sure the truth was heard. She loved her sweets, her coffee, and a cold canned Coke. She had a sharp wit, a quick tongue, and a laugh that filled the room. Whether she was tending to her beloved flowers (many of which she "borrowed" from neighbors, convinced that's how they grew best), singing old country tunes in the kitchen, or keeping everyone on their toes with her humor and honesty - Grace made her presence known. Her legacy lives on in the strength, humor, and love of her family. We are forever grateful for the time we had, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave so fiercely.

Visitation for Ms. Head will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 10am - 11am in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. Graveside services will follow in Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery at 11am.
