Grace Mary Monahan (DiRe) of Burlington Twp. NJ, formerly of Wyndmoor PA, was sent to her eternal home on July 9, 2025 while under the care of Samaritan Hospice. She was 94 years old.
Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Paul J Monahan, Grace is survived by her brother-in-law, Kenneth Eichmann and her sister-in-law Kathleen (Kate) Monahan, as well as 23 nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents E. Joseph DiRe and Ida DiRe of Philadelphia.
Grace, a Philadelphia native, graduated from Little Flower High School in 1948. She worked as a secretary until she met and married the love of her life, Paul. Together they traveled the world.
Grace will always be remembered for her sense of fashion, her love of animals and her dedication to her Catholic faith.
Her family extends their gratitude to the Masonic Village in Burlington Twp, NJ for supporting Grace and Paul during their final years.
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday July 17th from 8:15 to 9:15 AM at Bradley Funeral HOme, RT. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, 260 High Street, Mt. Holly NJ. Interment will follow at Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly NJ.
