GRACE HELEN (SIMMONS) NEAL
Miss Grace was called Home by her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 97. She was born on January 4, 1928 to Benjamin P & Agnes (Sudler) Simmons in Cheswold, DE. She was the first of four children born to her parents. After an illness that took her hearing at the age of four, the family moved to Pennsylvania when Grace was about eight years of age, so she could attend a school for the deaf, where she graduated High School.
Miss Grace led a full life and retired from the Kodak company. She enjoyed traveling and watching professional horse racing. After living in Buffalo, NY, Miss Grace spent many years living in Baltimore, MD, praising Jesus at the Christ Deaf United Methodist Church. While in Baltimore, Miss Grace married Paul Neal in 1980, until his passing in 2006. Miss Grace remained in Baltimore until 2018 when she moved to Kechi, KS to live with her son, Barry, his wife Tammy, and their granddaughter, Alexa, along with her couch buddy, Coco.
Miss Grace is survived by her brother, Benjamin P Simmons, Jr, of NV, daughter Claire Jean "Jeanie" Mosley-Hall of Ohio, sons, Barry J Sr and wife Tammy Mosley, of Kechi, Jefferey Mosley and Julian "July" and wife Marlene Mosley of California. Miss Grace also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ilea and Karelle Hall, Michael Mosley, Julian Mosley, Jenelle and Ariel Mosley, great-granddaughter Malaya Mosley, and bonus grandchildren Tracey (Jeremy), Kenneth (Molly), Daniel, and bonus great-grandchildren, Madison, Tyler, Alexa, and Ethan.
Miss Grace is preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, brother Ricky, sister Alice Arnold, son Thomas Mosley, and grandson Barry J Mosley, Jr.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 23rd, 2025 at Wulf-Ast Mortuary Chapel in Colwich, Kansas.
Flowers will be accepted at Wulf-Ast Mortuary in Colwich on Friday morning at 9:15 a.m. until service time.
