Gregory Scott Rothell, 63, of Seneca, the widower of Pamela Rothell passed away at his home on July 9, 2025. Born in Oconee County, he was the son of Randolph Rothell and Mozelle Stone Rothell.

Survivors include his beloved son, Jackson; his in-laws, Jessie Huntley Vincent and Claude Vincent; three brother-in-laws, Joseph (Sheena) Huntley, Zechariah Vincent, and Mark Huntley. 

Other Survivors include his three nieces: Kara Watford, Kayla Lewis, and Gabby Huntley, and numerous cousins, Aunts, and Uncles.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Henry and Bernice Stone, and one grandmother, Inez Cox Rothell. 

Gregory was a member of New Haven Baptist Church, which he considered to be his second family, where he served faithfully. He was a US Air Force Veteran and a 1980 graduate of Seneca High School.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in the Chapel of Brown Funerals. 

The family will receive friends prior to the service from noon until 1:00 PM. 

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

The family asks that, in place of flowers, memorial contributions be made to help with the funeral expenses of Mr. Rothell.
