Gregory "Greg" Williams, 66, passed away on June 4, 2025, in Merrimack, New Hampshire. He was born on September 25, 1958, in Rochester, New York.
Greg earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lowell and built a career grounded in technical expertise and dedication. Most recently, he served as a Plant Services Senior Engineer at NH Ball Bearing in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Earlier in his career, he worked in plastics molding at WNA Comet in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and Envases in Amherst, New Hampshire. Early in his career, he worked his way to the position of Vice President of Engineering at International Shoe Machine Corporation. Along with traveling the world, he held multiple patents during his time at International Shoe. Throughout his professional life, Greg was respected for his precision and commitment to excellence.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Terry Burris; his sons, David Williams and his wife Katie of Eliot, Maine, Evin Williams and his wife Laura of Dover, NH, his daughter Sara Williams and her husband Caleb Olson of Chicago, IL; and his stepsons, Brandon Burris and his wife Amanda of New Boston, NH, and Jason Burris and his wife Suzie of Rock Hill, SC. He was a proud grandfather to Tess, Sawyer, Jacob, Eric, Robin, Taylor, and Brianna.
Greg is also survived by his brother Bruce Williams and wife Jaime of Myersville, Maryland, along with his nieces and nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, Patricia and Richard Williams.
Outside of work, Greg enjoyed hobbies that reflected his mechanical skill and appreciation for craftsmanship. He was an avid sport shooter and gun collector who valued the design and function of each piece. A self-described gear head, he found satisfaction in tinkering with his 1976 Dodge Aspen R/T and took pride in meticulously maintaining his lawn and garden.
Greg’s legacy lives on through the lives he touched with quiet strength and enduring curiosity. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
