Our beloved mother, María Guadalupe Pérez (Lupita), sadly passed away on May 28, 2025, in The Woodlands, Texas, at the age of 94. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She raised five children and two grandchildren on her own. She was also present to care for one grandchild and a great-grandchild.

Lupita decided to leave her job as an electronic assembly associate to embark on a new path as a restaurant owner. The restaurant prospered and became very popular. She excelled as a cook and entrepreneur. She was passionate about cooking, music, dancing, gardening, and crocheting, and enjoyed taking care of her family while enjoying a good laugh with a cup of coffee and a sweetbread in the company of her loved ones. She always prioritized her family's needs above her own. Lupita will be remembered as a selfless and altruistic mother who always wore a smile, even during difficult times. She possessed serene strength, never complained, and always maintained hope for a better future. Lupita has always felt a deep affection and devotion to the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe.

She joins her parents, Maria Garcia and Ambrocio Perez, her daughter, Marielena Aguirre, her grandchildren, Matthew Aguirre, Maya Aguirre, two brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her children: Carmen and Pedro Aguilar, Rubén and Luz Aguirre, Carlos and Sylvia Aguirre, Gloria and Ruben Pérez, Victor Aguirre, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Psalm 23:

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not be in want. He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
