LeRoy - Howard "Paul" Booth, of LeRoy, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Munson Healthcare's Cadillac Hospital. He was 93.
Paul was born on April 4, 1932, in Cadillac, Michigan to Andrew and Laurie (Lamphere) Booth. He grew up in Cadillac and graduated from Cadillac High School before earning his degree in education from Central Michigan University. Paul entered into marriage to the former Phyllis J. Paul made his living educating countless students at Lakers High School in Pigeon, MI. He was a respected and successful educator, teaching shop and mechanical drawing and eventually the industrial arts. Paul's talents were evident as he, with the help of many students, completed the construction of many homes as part of his curriculum. Paul retired after 30 plus years in the school system. He was also giving of his time and was often found helping the community painting in the summer, participating in the church, teaching youth group, or as a master carpenter creating crafts with Phyllis. Paul was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his time with family. Paul had amazing memories from his time being raised in Northern Michigan with his parents and siblings. To a time later in life where Paul and Phyllis visited with their family while camping at Osceola County Park, on the banks of Rose Lake. They retired to a home on Rose Lake in LeRoy.
