She was born on October 15, 1940, in Big Bear Lake, Redlands California to Harvey and Iva McPherson. Hanora was raised in San Bernardino, California where she met her husband of 60 years Glenn Goepfert. Hanora earned a degree of Bachelor of Science from California State Polytechnic and a degree in Education at Fairhaven College at Western Washington University. Hanora had four sons Greg Jameson (and family in Texas), Frank Goepfert (Thongwan), Glenn Goepfert (Emma) and Malcom Goepfert (Kathleen) and had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Hanora took great pleasure of family, friends, and her time at church with a great belief in God. Special thanks to the staff at Centennial Post Acute (Prestige Care in Anchorage) for taking care of her for the past 5 years.
