Mr. Harold E. Lamb Jr., 85, of Barbourville, passed away Monday morning, July 7, 2025 at the Christian Health Center in Corbin. He was the son of the late Harold E. Lamb Sr. and Katherine Leonard Lamb born August 16, 1939 in Highland Park, MI.
Harold was a retired machine repairman from General Motors and a member of the United Auto Workers. He often spent time outdoors and was a talented woodworker. In his younger days, he enjoyed karate. Harold faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force.
On July 16, 1994 he united in marriage with Linda Collinsworth in Hamburg, MI.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Lamb.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 31 years, Linda Lamb of Barbourville; children, Randall Lamb and wife, Cindy, of Texas and Robyn Lamb of Michigan; sister, Carol Ann Lamb of Michigan; grandchildren, Lauren Cordova-Lamb and Justin Lamb and wife, Valerie; great-granddaughter, Riley; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, July 13 at 2 P.M. He will be laid to rest in the Campbell Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Blake Collinsworth, Ryan Collinsworth, Scott Helton, Jonathan Garrison, Willis Helton, Denny Messer and Justin Lamb.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Sunday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Knox-Whitley Humane Society, 66 Busy Lane, Corbin, KY 40701, in his memory.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
