Our brother, father, and friend went home to be with our Lord on Thursday June 26th, 2025. Harry was born in Snyder, Tx. on July 7th, 1948, to Harry Quinton Berry and Birdie Florene James. He is survived by his brother Jackie Berry of Post, TX, his son, Dennis Roy Berry and wife of Oklahoma, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many many friends. He joins his parents, a daughter, many aunts, uncles, and cousins who preceded him.
Harry was known to most as Dennis growing up, but in later years began to go by Harry. He was married to Mary Shryl Griffin in July 1972, they had 2 children together, Dennis Roy, and Sonya Yvette. Harry and Mary later divorced and Harry moved to Houston from Oklahoma. Harry worked for Brown & Root for a number of years until an accident in which he lost a part of his thumb.
Harry always had a big heart and love for just about anyone he met. There were times when his kindness was taken advantage of, but Harry usually just shrugged it off and never made a big deal about it. I never heard anyone have a negative thing to say about him. He always had a smile and a hug for just about everyone. He will sorely be missed by those who truly loved him, but they also realize that he has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior, and we can all rejoice for him as he dances on the streets of gold in heaven.
