Harvey Gene Williams, 76, was born on March 25, 1949, in Bennington, Oklahoma, the son of Cecil "Hank" Frank Williams and Marie (Jeffcoats) Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Herman Williams and sisters-in-law, Terry Williams, Kim Williams and Paula Finch.
Harvey lived in Bennington his entire life and worked as a welder. He married his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Pierce, on October 1, 1969, in Denison, Texas. Harvey was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garden and tinkering on anything outside. He could build anything, liked working with metal and enjoyed going to the casino. Harvey loved hanging out in his son's shop and especially liked doing things with his grandson Skeeter. Harvey loved his family and spending time with his son and grandkids. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Harvey is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Williams of Bennington, OK; son, Michael Williams and wife, Jennifer of Bennington, OK; grandsons, Brannon "Skeeter" Williams and girlfriend, Brooklyn of Bennington, OK and Austin Williams and wife, Ollie of Hugo, OK; brothers, Larry Joe Williams of Boswell, OK, James Williams of Bennington, OK, Lonnie Williams of Bokchito, OK, Donnie Williams of Gainesville, TX, Billy Williams of Duncan, OK and Charles Williams of Blue, OK; sisters, Brenda Gardener and husband, David of Mead, OK and Bonnie Williams of Bennington, OK and brother-in-law, Ricky Pierce of Goodland, OK along with a host of other family friends and loved ones.
