Abbeville - A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Luke Ates of Our Saviors church will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Heath Carpenter, 56, who passed away on May 19, 2025 at Ochsner Lafayette General.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville on Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow at Abshire Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Carpenter, Clint Frederick, Michael Frederick, Derek Frederick, Holden Broussard, and Cody Romero.
He is survived by two daughters, Kristen Romero (Cody) of New Iberia, Katelyn Broussard (Holden) of New Iberia; two sons, Heath Cameron Carpenter of Houston, TX.; and Xander Carpenter, of Perry; mother, Irma Bossley (Kenneth) of Abbeville; three brothers, Clint Frederick of Abbeville, Mike Frederick (Crystal) of Maurice, and Derrik Frederick of Abbeville; and two grandchildren, Cohen Romero and Annelise Broussard.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Nettie LeBlanc; and stepfather, Michael Frederick.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Carpenter, Clint Frederick, Michael Frederick, Derek Frederick, Holden Broussard, and Cody Romero.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville (337) 893-4661.
