Henderson Johnson (affectionately know as Dickie) 77, of Lafayette Louisiana was born on September 1, 1947 in Pineville, La to the late Ora Harris Ballard of Alexandria, La. He departed this life on July 1, 2025.
Henderson was known for his sense of humor, witty personally & his dedication to his family. He had an extreme love for electronics and building computers from scratch, as well as tending to his fish tanks. He spent his days listening to reggae music, fishing & cooking for his family.
He is survived by his wife: Angelica Taylor; children: Dickie Johnson, Dickito Johnson Hall, LaShonda Johnson, Shaterricka Johnson, & Brianna Johnson; His grandchildren: Inaiah Johnson, Aziyah Johnson, Chauzai Oliver, Ryleigh Mitchell, Willie Mitchell V, Isaiah Hall, Keyara Hall, Kalayjah Hall, Zykira Hall, Keymoni Hall, Dickito Hall Jr.; His siblings: Gwendolyn Lewis, Jean Baylor, Evelyn Wilson, Carlton Harris, & Terry Paul Johnson, and a host of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents James Brown and Hazel Holmes and 8 siblings.
