Henry Edwards Obituary

Henry Edwards, 97, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at his home in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, July 14 at Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow the service in Betheden Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Henry was born January 4, 1928, to William Henry Edwards and Willie Sue Ivy Edwards. He was a member of Bevill Hill Church. Henry was a retired truck driver and he enjoyed gardening. He answered the call of his country by serving in World War II.
Henry is survived by his children: Mary Eaves, Johnny Edwards, Bobby Joe Edwards (Linda), and Henrietta Chancellor (Mike). One of his greatest joys was being "PawPaw" to his grandchildren: Robert Edwards (Madison), George Edwards (Sara Catherine), Keith Edwards (Kayla), Paul Edwards (Kasey), Katherine Ming (Dewayne), Chris Eaves (Michelle), Kristi Chancellor, and Kevin Chancellor; as well as his great-grandchildren: Toby Ming, Keely Ming, Thomas Eaves, Easton Eaves, Jackson Edwards, Emma Still, Austin Still, Hayden Ming, Carson Eaves, Harrison Edwards, Isla Edwards, Brantley Grace Edwards, Molly Ruth Edwards, Ella Edwards, Ava Kay Edwards, Amerine Edwards, and Millee Edwards. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Ruth Edwards; his parents; and his brother, Dut Edwards.
Serving as pallbearers are Robert Edwards, George Edwards, Keith Edwards, Paul Edwards, Kevin Chancellor, Chris Eaves, and Dewayne Ming. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Yateman, Mike Peterson, Bachie Vickers, Johnny Wayne Bradford, and Mike Perkins.
