Funeral services for Mr. Hiram H. "Hot Shot" Bagley, 81, of Keatchie, Louisiana will be 11:30 a.m., Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Pascal Stowell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the service at Shiloh Baptist Church. Mr. Hiram Henry "Hot Shot" Bagley was born in Shreveport, Louisiana May 9, 1944. He passed this life on August 5, 2025, peacefully at his Keatchie home. Hiram was the youngest of six children born to the marriage of Maurine LaGrone and Walter H. Bagley. He was schooled in Carthage, graduating with the Carthage Bulldog class of 1963. H served his country through the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war receiving the Service Medal, Campaign Medal and National Defense Medal. Mr. Bagley worked as a self-employed truck driver for many years hauling raw milk to the processing plants. Hiram married Suzanne Helen Smith who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, W. Hewey, Lynn L., sisters, Peggy B. Jojola, Joan B. Shadowens. Mr. Bagley is survived by his devoted daughter, Judith B. Lott and husband Brent and two grandsons, Kyle and Alex Lott; sister, Carolyn B. Brown; special niece, Ellen B. Day and husband Lindy; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Special thanks to his caregivers, Adrienne Cameron, Cynthia Johnson, and Stephanie Singleton. Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Lott, Alex Lott, Lindy Day, Trey Day, JayDon Day, Donny Brown, Kenny Harris, Gus Harris. The family suggests memorial to the Shiloh Baptist Church, 322 Church Road, Keatchie, LA 71046, Shiloh Baptist Cemetery, 1116 Hwy 169, Keatchie, LA 71046.
