Holly Drake Obituary
Holly Glenn "Gene" Drake, 93, formerly of Rittman, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Burbank Parke Care Center after a period of declining health.
He was born on June 5, 1932, in Nebo, WV to Spencer Brooks Drake and Rouie Starcher Watkins and retired from Parker-Hannafin in Wadsworth. Glenn was a man who was always busy cutting down trees and in his spare time enjoyed hunting, golfing, playing euchre and bowling. He was a member of the Wadsworth Eagles.
Surviving are his children, Timothy Glenn and his wife Donna Drake of Wooster, Terry Gene and his wife Theresa Farnsworth, Lehigh Acres, FL, and Denise Kay Drake and Kelly Lynn Drake both of Canton; 11 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Lester "Jack" Houghton of Burbank, Frank Watkins of Creston, Violet Wright of Wooster, Russell Watkins of Creston and Deloris "Dee" and her husband Louie Carter of Wooster; special Aunt, Hilda Douglas Balser of Wadsworth and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Tina Bowe, and grandson, Justin Farnsworth.
Services will be Monday, July 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
