Homer Adams Obituary

Homer Ray Adams of Anahuac, 91, made his trip to his heavenly home on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
Born to Robert & Violet Adams, on the 12th of September 1933 in McAlester, Ok. He was the second of eight children and was the oldest of a twin.
He rejoined loved ones that have preceded him in death, including his wife of 63 years, Virginia Pitts Adams, son, Allen Adams, Parents Robert & Violet Adams, Siblings, Eulema Grubis, Zona Baker, Richard Adams, Johnny Adams, Coy Adams, Robert Adams.
Homer had such a big sense of humor and loved to make others laugh. Raised in the hills of Oklahoma, he lost sight in one eye as a child, but it never slowed him down.
In 1970 he moved his family to the Anahuac area and began living his life for the Lord. Often taking in numerous foster children and helping the homeless or anyone in need. Homer loved spending his time watching old western movies. And no matter where he was, he somehow took over the TV remote.
He will be dearly missed by his surviving family, children, Mike Adams & wife Allison of Anahuac, Yvonne Morgan & husband Gene of Anahuac and Violet Davis & husband Ronnie of LaPorte. Sister, Carolyn Kulak of McAlester, Ok 9 Grandchildren, Numerous Great Grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren.
