Hubert Tyrone Hubbard, 76 of Asher, Kentucky, departed this life surrounded by loved ones on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Corbin Baptist Continue Care Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. Hubert was born on September 9, 1948, to McKinley Bowling and Ethel Hoskins Hubbard.
By occupation, Hubert worked for Buick, in the auto industry.
Hubert enjoyed a good cup of coffee, going to church, and reading his Bible. He was a good-hearted man, who always had a genuine concern for others. He would always keep up with current events. Hubert was a knowledgeable chess player, strong republican, and an animal lover.
Hubert is survived by three sons, Lonnie Hubbard of Memphis, Tennessee, Phillip Hubbard (Amy) of London, Kentucky, and William Curtis Hubbard of Stinnett, Kentucky; two daughters, Michelle Feltner (Roy) of London, Kentucky, and Veronica Barrett (Ralph) of Essie, Kentucky; one sister, Sharon Sizemore (Curt) of Lexington, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hubbard, Jonathan Hubbard, Abby Hubbard, Ella Hubbard, Blake Hubbard, Broderick Hubbard, Alonna Hubbard, Caden Feltner, and Joe Barrett.
Hubert is preceded in death by his parents McKinley Bowling and Ethel Hoskins Hubbard, his wife Brenda Hubbard, and one brother, Anthony Hubbard.
A graveside service to commemorate Hubert's life will be held at 1p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Hoskins Cemetery in Asher, Kentucky, with Curt Sizemore officiating.
Interment will follow the graveside service at Hoskins Cemetery with Phillip Hubbard, Jonathan Hubbard, Roy Feltner, Ralph Barrett, Julian Lorenz, and Jobe Sizemore serving as pallbearers.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home
