Irene Diane Hajducki, age 72 of Montello (Lake Puckaway) passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 15, 2025 at her home. Irene was born in East Chicago, Indiana on September 13, 1952 to George and Shirley (Boughamer) Obergon. She graduated from Milwaukee Hamilton High School in 1970 and married James Hajducki on October 3, 1970 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Together they resided in Milwaukee for many years while raising their son. James preceded Irene in death on September 8, 2014. In 2018, Irene relocated to Lake Puckaway. She was an avid shopper and enjoyed being around others. Irene was a good cook and liked to entertain.
Irene is survived by her son, James Jr. (Bonnie) of Mukwonago and three grandchildren: Lexi, Kacie and Jake. She is also survived by three sisters: Mary Plant, Carol Roman and Patty (Todd) Wolff as well as brothers-in-law: Tony DeHoyos and Dave (Colleen) Hajducki and sister-in-law, Susan Hajducki along with many other extended family members.
Irene is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters: Ruth DeHoyos, Shirley (Niles) Medro and Sue Brown and brothers-in-law, Jim Plant and Rick Hajducki.
Honoring Irene’s wishes, no services will be held.
