Keith Gosnell Obituary

Keith Allen Gosnell, age 66, of Marion, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Born on November 27, 1958, in Kenton, Ohio, Keith was the beloved son of Merle and Janice (Armstrong) Gosnell. He received his education in Marion and graduated from Harding High School, where he made lifelong memories and friendships. On October 18, 1986, Keith married the love of his life, Karen Lee Smith. Together, they shared nearly four decades of marriage built on love and laughter. Keith was known for his love of the outdoors and was especially passionate about fishing. A proud member of the Wyandot Bass Masters, he found joy in casting a line wherever the water called. He also had a natural talent for working on cars and took great pride in keeping both his vehicles and yard in top condition. Always curious and adventurous, Keith loved trying out new restaurants and discovering hidden gems. Family was everything to Keith. He was a devoted and proud uncle who never missed a chance to cheer on his nephews from the sidelines. His warm smile, easygoing spirit, and willingness to lend a hand will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his siblings: Gary (Jackie) Gosnell, Tammy (Michael) Moore and Debra Haire; he was the uncle to: Kevin (Alice) Gosnell, Roger Gosnell, Derek McQuistion, Rusty McQuistion, Rebekah Moore and Rilee Haire; also surviving are many great-nieces, great-nephews and his beloved dog and faithful companion, Tucker. Keith is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife Karen Gosnell; brother Roger Gosnell and nephew Bryan. Visitation will be Friday, September 19, 2025 at Snyder Funeral Homes, GUNDER/HALL Chapel, 347 West Center St., Marion from 11AM to 1PM; funeral service will follow at 1PM; burial will be in Marion Cemetery.
