Ivas "Bobbi" (Johnson) Kerans, 82, of Marionville, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on her farm on April 15, 2025, in the presence of her loving husband, Noel.
Bobbi was born on August 7, 1942, in Aurora, Missouri, while her family lived on the Goose Creek place near Marionville. She was the daughter of Clorene (Wright) Johnson and Ivan Johnson.
Bobbi spent her school days attending Marionville Schools where she graduated in 1960.
She married Noel Raymond Kerans of Horse Creek, Missouri, on May 30, 1961, and together they shared a devoted marriage of nearly 63 years. Their life together was one of deep partnership, hard work, and family. They raised three children, Sidney Ray Kerans, Stacey Jean Young, and Shannon Gail Metcalf.
Bobbi spent her life as a homemaker and farmer, roles in which she poured out her heart, strength, and quiet determination. She also adored her job as a secretary for Marionville Schools in the Special Services Department for 25 years, where she became a familiar and trusted presence to countless students and teachers.
Bobbi is survived by her husband, Noel, and her children, Sidney (Kay) Kerans and Stacey (Aaron) Young. She was a proud grandmother to Lathan Kerans, Callie Jo Kerans Maher, Brett Young, Casey Young-Newberry, and Ryan Metcalf. Her legacy continues through nine great-grandchildren, Kiyah, Korah, Blane, Nekalia, Dally, Cash, Kabrianna, Kysen, and Knox.
Bobbi is also survived by her siblings Jackie Harvey, Olga Carr, and Jay Johnson.
Bobbi was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon; her parents, Ivan, and Clorene Johnson; her sisters, Natalie Jackson, and Ovella Vanderhoof; her brother, Ray Johnson; and a nephew, Bart Harvey.
Her life was a reflection of devotion-to her family, to her community, to the land she loved and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, anymore. The first things have passed away"....Rev, 21:4
"Love you a bushel and a peck".....
