Jack A. Snapp, 77, of Bourbonnais, IL, died on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the Manteno Veterans Home in Manteno, IL. He was born on August 6. 1947, in Kankakee, IL, the son of William and Ann Ott Snapp. Jack married Nancy Peerbolte on September 14, 1968 in Momence, IL. She survives.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Snapp of Bourbonnais, IL. His daughter and son-in-law; Rebecca and Louis King of Momence, IL. His son and daughter-in-law; Paul and Heather Snapp of Fort Myers, FL. Two sisters-in-law; Judy Snapp of Momence, IL and Barbara Snapp of Kankakee, IL. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Louis (LT) and Sierra King, Logan and Samantha King, Perry Snapp, Holden Snapp and Maya Snapp and one great granddaughter; Ivy Marie King. And a special caregiver, Erron Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his four brothers; Leon, Perry Gene and Mike Snapp and sister-in-law, Betty Snapp.
He worked and retired as a plumber for the Pipefitters Union Local 597 in Chicago, IL. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Jack was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local 597 in Chicago, IL, Our Savior Lutheran Church of Momence, IL, the American Legion Post 40, and the VFW Post 7535.
He enjoyed fishing with his brothers and family on annual fishing trips, and spending time with his family, especially grandchildren.
Cremation rites will be accorded following services.

I worked at the manteno veterans home. Jack was on my unit . I would pass out coffee and donuts and when I stopped and seen him he always had a smile on his face.
I will always remember him and his wife Nancy .
