Jack Lynn Tullis, 79, of Fairfield, Illinois, passed away on July 9, 2025, at his residence.
Jack was born in Wayne County, Illinois, on February 10, 1946, to Wilson and Elizabeth (Luther) Tullis. He married Sue Ann McBrian Vaught on December 23, 1995, and they were married for nearly 22 years until her death in November 2017.
Jack began his work career as a tank truck driver for his father at Tullis Truck Service. He was quite well known for growing and selling delicious produce on Rosewood Lane. Jack was a member of the First Christian Church, Wayne County Coon Hunter's Club, and American Legion Post 176.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sue; his twin brother, Jerry Glen Tullis; brother, John Tullis; sister, Kay Trotter; and a baby sister, Sharon Rose Tullis. His step-son, Richard Vaught, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Tullis and Jacqueline Tullis both of Fairfield, Illinois; 2 step-sons, Robert (Susan) Vaught and Rodney Vaught also of Fairfield, Illinois. Grandchildren, Kayleigh, Samantha, Derek, and Shelby; great-grandchildren, Mavrick, Zoey, and Sagelyn; 3 additional step-children, 7 step-grand-daughters, and 10 step-great-grandchildren also survive.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield, Illinois, with visitation from 12 noon until the service time. Interment will follow at Maple Cemetery in Fairfield, Illinois.
