Jack Lee Booth, 75, of Collins, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at his home. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Fredregill Funeral & Cremation Care, 107 N. Main St. in Baxter, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Immediately following his visitation his memorial service will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Cindi Harms officiating. Graveside services will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Collins on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Jack was born in Jefferson, Iowa to Albert and Beulah (Mowery) Booth on May 28, 1949. He grew up in Bagley, Iowa where he attended school at YJB Schools and graduated with the class of 1967. Following school, he was drafted by the Army and served his time as a company clerk in Vietnam. After he was honorably discharged from the Army, he returned home to Bagley. Jack then enrolled at AIB College in Des Moines where he went on to earn his associate's degree in finance. Jack began working at McAninch Construction as an accountant. In 1986, he moved to Collins. He later worked for CDS where he remained for over 20 years and then worked at
the hog confinements.
Jack enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, drinking beer and fishing, taking timber walks, and driving his buggy around.
Those left to cherish his loving memory are his boys Travis (Crystal) Booth of Norwalk, IA and Curt (Jen) Booth of Collins, IA; grandchildren William and Grant Booth, Cayley and Caleb McBurney.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to his family.
Fredregill Funeral & Cremation Care has been entrusted with the care of Jack and his family.
