Jackie Kearney Taylor, 62, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. Jackie was born in Wayne County on October 6, 1962, to Kenneth and Betty Kearney.

A woman of faith, dedication, and love, Jackie devoted her life to her family, her work, and her church. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mount Olive and went on to receive her Master's in Accounting from East Carolina University. With her sharp mind and compassionate spirit, Jackie was currently serving as an accountant with Parker and Parker in Goldsboro, where her colleagues were more than coworkers-they were part of her extended family.

Jackie's greatest joy was time spent with her loved ones. She cherished every moment with her children and grandchildren, whose laughter and love filled her heart. Jackie worshipped with the congregation at Free Gospel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, where her faith guided her life and her relationships.

A service to celebrate Jackie's life will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Parks officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Interment will follow on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Lancaster Family Cemetery.

Jackie is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Betty Kearney; her daughter, Hillarie Taylor Williams and husband, Chad; her son, Christopher Lowell Taylor and wife, Shannon; grandchildren, Emma Kate Williams, Liam Grant Williams, Wyatt Cole Williams, Cameron Taylor, and Morgan Taylor; brothers, Kenneth Kearney and wife, Denise, and Linwood Kearney; niece, Olivia Kearney; and special aunts, Joan Davis, Doris Loy, Faye Person, and Faye Phillips. She also leaves behind many cousins whom she dearly loved.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jackie's memory to Cures for the Colors, SMOC, 203 Cox Blvd., Goldsboro, NC 27534.

Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
