Jacob Daniel Flores October 10, 1985 – March 26, 2025
Jacob Daniel Flores, a beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on March 26, 2025, in Richmond, Texas. Born on October 10, 1985, in Houston, Texas, to Angelina Casiano, Jacob lived a life full of love, creativity, and devotion to his family and community.
On January 23, 2007, Jacob married the love of his life, Yvonne Hernandez, in Richmond, Texas, and together they built a beautiful and loving family. He was a dedicated warehouse supervisor and a valued member of River Point Church.
Jacob found joy in life's simple pleasures-drawing, listening to music, cooking, gaming with his children, coaching his daughter in basketball, cutting hair, building model cars, and creating lasting memories with his wife and kids. His kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for his family will forever be cherished.
He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne Flores, and his cherished children, Kilee Sosa, Aubrey Flores, Christian Flores, Aaron Flores, Michael Sosa, and Christopher Sosa and his parents Angelina Casiano & Ismael Flores. He also leaves behind his dear sisters Krystal Melgar (Oscar) and their children Giselle, Catalina, Cristian, Ashley Ortiz (David Ortiz) and their children Luna, Leo, and Samantha Sweeney (Billy Sweeney) and their children Dakota, Eris, Aloft, and Layla.
Jacob is remembered by his in-laws Frank & Michelle Cobia, his brothers-in-law Frank Cobia Jr., Christopher Cobia, Michael Hernandez, and Joshua Cobia, and his beloved grandchildren Jasmin Flores and Aiden Sosa. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Pedro & Sofia Flores and his beloved daughter Alyssia Sosa.
Jacob also leaves behind a beautiful host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and dear friends-all of whom loved him deeply and will miss him profoundly. His legacy of love and devotion will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know him.
