Jacquelyn Fransaw Obituary

Jacquelyn Joyce Fransaw was born on August 11, 1958 to Frisco
Fransaw and Elfa Hall. She was the youngest of four daughters.
Both parents preceded her in death, as well as her favorite Uncle
Jesse Hall and cousin, David (Spunky) Hall-who was Jackie's
"twin cousin".
Jacquelyn, fondly called "Jackie" by her family, attended Trinity
Baptist Church as a child and later united with Greater Johnson
Baptist Church and Mt Zion Baptist Church in San Diego. She
faithfully attended until her health began to fail. She received her
formal education at Sherman and Silvergate Elementary schools,
Dana Junior High School and, in 1976, she graduated from
Abraham Lincoln High School. She also attended San Diego City
College as well as Cal State University Long Beach in Long
Beach, CA. Jackie was employed by the State of California
Department of Social Services as a Disability Analyst.
Jackie was a very social person who never met a stranger, which is
why she is loved by so many. She leaves to mourn her passing and to
cherish her memory, three sisters: Wanda Gail Fransaw Taylor
(Deacon Ernest Taylor), Peggy Lynn Kelly (Rev. Donnell Kelly),
and Brenda Cheryl Fransaw; Two nephews: LaNell Davenport and
Ejonte' White; Two nieces: Shaughnessy and D'Andrea Kelly, Two
great nieces: Aleah Davenport Jarin and Rihanna Lanelle Daven-
port; Aunt: Joyce Hall and cousins Gregory Charles and Victor
(Chubby) Hall; Cousins: Irma Mitchell and sons William
(Mikey) Mitchell, Phillip Mitchell and Eric Mitchell;
Special friend and companion, Steve A. McGee and her canine baby,
King. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends
