In Loving Memory of James Earl Betties

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of James Earl Betties, who departed this life on June 30, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born on September 16, 1952 in Indianola, MS, James lived a life marked by quiet strength, endurance, and deep love and compassion for his family and friends. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his generous spirit, and his ability to make everyone laugh.
Throughout his life, James was known for his no nonsense personality and for the many ways he supported and uplifted those around him. His passions included lottery tickets and sports betting, and he approached every day with integrity, humility, and a touch of humor.
James is survived by his children, Tiphani, Cynthia, Allen, and Ardalesa, 15 grandkids, 12 great-grandkids, and 6 siblings, and preceded in death by his mother, Lula Mae Betties and 4 siblings who passed.
A service to celebrate James’s life will be held on July 11, 2025 @ 9am at
Davis Funeral Home
6200 S Eastern Ave.
Las Vegas, NV 89119
A repast will be held after the burial on July 11, 2025 from 1pm-3pm at
Blind Center of Nevada
1001 N Bruce St, Las Vegas, NV 89101
All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and share in remembrance. He will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who loved him.
