Mr. James Allen Crocker, Sr. of Collierville, TN passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Methodist hospital in Germantown, TN. He was born December 15, 1938 in Sassafras Ridge, Ky to the late Cecil and Dallas Crocker. James worked as an accountant for the Internal Revenue Service and proudly served in the Tennessee National Guard. He was a member of Collierville First Baptist Church.
James is survived by his wife, Bonnie Bramlett Crocker, a son, James Allen Crocker, Jr. and wife Tammie, all of Collierville, a daughter, Julia Selph and husband, Jason, of Counce, TN, a brother Bobby Joe Crocker of Samburg, a brother-in-law, Tommie Bramlett of Tiptonville, a sister-in-law Brendell Pounders of Collierville, sisters Jane Shaw of Lexington, Ky and Brenda Davis, of Dyersburg and five grandchildren, Jared Hill, Colton Crocker, Shelby Wilburn, Sam Selph and Katie Howell.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church in Tiptonville on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. John Troutman. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Memorial Gardens. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be James Crocker, Jared Hill, Colton Crocker, Reed Wilburn, Trey Howell, Sam Selph and Jeff Bratton.
Until we meet again at the feet of Jesus, well done thy good and faithful servant, James Allen Crocker,Sr., our gentle giant, super hero, and Pops.
