James Harrison Obituary

James "Scott" Harrison CWO5, 61, of Falmouth, KY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at his home. He was born June 25, 1964, to Jerry Lamar and the late Sandy Baxley Shaul. Scott was a proud Marine who dedicated 30 years 4 months and 20 days of service, including involvement in Desert Storm, Saudi Arabia, Joint Task Force Andrew, Florida, and operation Iraqi Freedom, Iraq. He was awarded many accommodations and service medals.
Scott and his wife Cindy celebrated 43 years of marriage, a relationship he treasured deeply, and there was nothing he wouldn't do for her. In June, he also celebrated his 61st birthday. Scott was a man of many passions, He loved his yard- mowing, and watering flowers. He enjoyed barbecues and hosting gatherings at the pool, creating happy memories with loved ones. An avid fisherman and hunter who loved and thought so much of his Marine Brothers.
Besides his father, Scott is survived by his wife, Cindy; son, Dustin Wayne Harrison; grandchildren, Curtis Harrison, Alissa Harrison, Tyler Harrison; great-grandchild, Carter Harrison; brother, Chase Lamar; mother-in-law, Joyce Pride; sister-in-law, Sherry (Mike) Mason; and brother-in-law, Tim Clark.
Visitation for Scott will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M, at Ware Funeral Home. Military honors will begin at 1:00 P.M. followed by a memorial service.
