Age 80, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, October 6th, 2025 at his home.
James is survived by his loving family, wife, Carmella Kimble (Mendez), children, Christopher (Kristin) Kimble, Katherine (Louis) O’Connell, grandchildren, Lyla Kimble, Ruby Kimble, Ivy Kimble, Violet Kimble, Daisy Kimble, Louis Jack O’Connell, Nathan James O’Connell, Joann O’Connell, sibling, Linda Mitchell, sisters in-law, Suzanne Kimble and Peggy Kimble.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell R. & Evabelle Kimble (Armstrong), siblings, Bruce Kimble, Kenneth Kimble and brother in-law Ted Mitchell.
James was a United States Army Veteran and attended St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort. He retired from the Department of Veteran Affairs after 36 years of service and greatly enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
Family will receive friends at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, October 20th, 2025 from 9:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 10:00 AM. Interment, Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
