James Lynch Obituary

James H. "Jim" Lynch was Born to Eternal Life on Wednesday July 2, 2025, at the age of 71. Beloved husband for 34 years of Linda (nee Strahlendorf.) Loving father of Heather Lynch. Brother of Patrick (Sue) Lynch and sister Debbie (Dan) Zelhofer. Brother-in-law of Karen Dusha, Harry J Strahlendorf, and Michael Strahlendorf. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who loved him. Preceded in death by his parents Harold Jr. "Jack" and Marie Lynch (nee Horn).
Jim was known for his kind and gentle spirit. He was a wonderful husband and a caring friend who would go out of his way to help others.
His warmth and generosity left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.
One of Jim's greatest joys was traveling with his beloved wife, Linda. Together they created cherished memories across the country, including a special trip to Hawaii for their 25th anniversary where they explored four islands and made new friends along the way. Closer to home, Vilas County in Wisconsin held a special place in Jim's heart. The couple enjoyed many peaceful vacations there, soaking in the natural beauty and tranquility.
A man who took pride in his surroundings, Jim found satisfaction in remodeling their home and taking pleasure in the finished results. He had an eye for detail and enjoyed seeing projects through from start to finish.
Jim was also a devoted sports fan. He cheered for the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers, celebrating victories and enduring losses.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 7627 W. Greenfield Ave. from 10AM-12PM with a memorial service at 12PM. Inurnment to follow at Pinelawn Cemetery.
