Funeral services for James Clovis "Turk" Moore, 89, of Livingston, Texas will be held Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Providence Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Robert Murphy and Bro. John Page officiating. Interment will follow at the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Turk was born February 13, 1936 in Onalaska, Texas and passed away July 15, 2025 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kacoska Moore and Katie Rebecca Sheffield Moore; grandson, Tre' Page; sister, Avis Moffett; and brother, Loy "Putney" Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Jolene Gay Moore; son and daughter-in-law, James "Jim" Moore Jr. and Kathy; daughter, Jan Moore; grandchildren, Sarah Page and Orey Fails, Lauren Stevens and Landon, and Josh Moore and Kaylyn; great grandchildren, Drew Page, Molly Page, Kace Fails, Kori Fails, Kaylee Page, Graham Stevens, and Sawyer Stevens; and special caregiver and friend; Cinderella Robertson along with numerous other loved ones and friends.
Pallbearers: Josh Moore, David Moore, Mark Moore, Landon Stevens, Orey Fails and Jeremy Perry.
