James Thomas "Tommy" Oldham, 76, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehab in Madisonville, KY.
He was born on December 29, 1948, in Greenville, KY, to the late Clara Mae Vincent Oldham and Thomas "T.J." Jackson Oldham. He was formerly employed as a warehouse supervisor for Glenwood Manufacturing and also worked for the Ideal Market and Green River Appliance. He enjoyed dirt track racing, playing bingo, watching NASCAR, and was an avid fan of UK Basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Before Tommy's passing, he gave his heart to the Lord.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Smith; and his brothers, William "Bill" Oldham and Johnny Earl Oldham.
His survivors include his son, Zach Oldham of Bremen, KY; brother, Bobby (Aliene) Oldham of Graham, KY; sisters, Carolyn (Stevie) Sutton of Slaughters, KY, Darlene (Sammie) Dukes of Robards, KY, and Brenda (Donnie) Devylder of Madisonville; one granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Gene Rickard officiating. Burial to follow at Slaughters Cemetery in Slaughters, KY.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
The pallbearers are Donald Devylder, Jr., Sammie Dukes, Jr., Jesse Dukes, Matthew Sutton, Stevie Sutton, Jr., and Brian Rice. The honorary pallbearers are Josh Oldham, Beau Dukes, and Kevin Pryor.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Ridgewood Terrace for their amazing care of Tommy.
