James Sentman Obituary

James Lewis Sentman Jr., 85, passed away surrounded by family on June 27th, 2025, in Kalkaska, MI. James was born on April 22nd, 1940, in Port Deposit, MD. He is the son of James and Maude (Price) Sentman. James graduated from college with a bachelor's and master's degree in communications and finance. He served his country for 6 years in the United States Air Force. On November 7th, 1982, he married Sharon Sentman. In his spare time, he loved golfing and bowling and played until he couldn't. James worked many years for Michigan Bell Telephone Co. as a lineman, he finally retired from there after many years of dedication. He lived a full life. James will be missed by all and remembered as a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend. James will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Linda (Bill) Lee, Debra Allen, and Ann Sentman; sister Connie Marshall; 5 stepdaughters; and many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Sentman; brother Rodney Sentman; and parents James L. Sentman Sr. and Maude Sentman. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home.
