Theresa Batovsky Obituary

Theresa M. Batovsky ("Terri"), 79, of Oak Creek, WI, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025. She was born on December 14, 1945, to Raymond and Irene Look of South Milwaukee, WI.

Terri dedicated her career to critical care nursing at St. Luke's Hospital, where she mentored and inspired countless nursing students, aides, and new doctors. Her compassionate nature extended beyond her profession, as she was always a source of wisdom and support for those around her.

She found joy in bingo, slot machines, and reading, but most of all in bringing people together. Known as the ultimate party organizer among her friends and family, she cherished time spent with loved ones. Her grandson John affectionately knew her as "Busia," and their bond was one of her greatest joys. In her final months, she delighted in playing blackjack with John, Jeff, and Norma-creating cherished memories filled with laughter.

Terri is survived by her loving husband, Robert, who resides at Franciscan Villa; their son Jeff and his fiancée Norma; her grandson John; and step-grandchildren Junior, Vanessa, and Johnny. She is also survived by her younger brother Robert and older brother Raymond Jr. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her sister-in-law Dee (Robert), and her precious son Jim.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Henry Miller Park Pavilion, 315 E. Groveland Dr., Oak Creek, WI 53154.
