James Robert Stewart, 82, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on July 02,2025. He was born on March 15, 1943, in Hamilton, OH to the late William Robert and Beulah (Ebbing-Lowe) Stewart. Jim Served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964. Jim married the love of his life and best friend Bonnie Lou Stewart on 04/06/1963. They remained married until her passing in 2020.
Jim was a faithful Christian who attended Westside Family Worship Center and helped serve on the security team. He was a truck driver for most of his career and received many awards for outstanding service. Jim enjoyed reading, woodworking, playing Shanghai and watching his favorite football team, The Gators. Jim's True passion was spending time with his family.
The love he had for his family was unwavering and unconditional. He will forever be remembered as a loving Husband, Father, Papaw and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jim is preceded by his Wife Bonnie Stewart, Parents Beaulah Ebbing & William Stewart, Brothers Hubert Wages and Paul Stewart, Sisters, Phyllis Stewart and Rose Alexander and Grandson, Dylan Stewart and Son in law Steve Pena.
He is survived by his Children Bo Stewart (Traci Stewart), Tracie Pena, Amy Gaskins (Bryant Gaskins); Grandchildren Hannah Stewart, Shelby Brown (Dennis Brown), Jordan Manuel (Zach Manuel), Sierra Gatto (Noah Worthington), Shawnee Gaskins, Will Gaskins, Great Grand Daughter Presley Brown and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, July 8th, 2025, at Westside Family Worship Center with Pastor Judah Lupisella officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time.
