Jane Clare Schreiber, age 55, of Big Lake passed away on Saturday, July 5th, 2025 at Centra Care Hospital in Monticello.
She was born on January 10, 1970 in Winsted the daughter of Charles J. & Barbara Ann (Quast) Millerbernd.
Jane graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1988. She later attended and graduated South West State University in Marshall with a degree in Sociology. Jane received her Master's degree in special education from St. Cloud State University in 2003.
On August 15, 2003, Jane C. Millerbernd and David Schreiber were joined in holy marriage in Duluth. God blessed their marriage with two daughters.
Jane was employed for twenty-two years as a special education teacher at Osseo Senior High School.
Family was so important to Jane! She enjoyed Jane Austin books, the out of doors, biking and going up North off the beaten path.
She is survived by her loving husband: David Schreiber; her daughters: Clara and Anna; her mother: Barbara A. Millerbernd of Winsted; siblings: Alan (Marette) Millerbernd of Anoka, Tom (Candace) Millerbernd of Chaska and Craig (Molly) Millerbernd of Anderson, South Carolina; mother-in-law: Marie Brown of Golden Valley; a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Charles "Charlie" Millerbernd and by a sister Catherine "Cathy" Millerbernd.
A Memorial Service for Jane Schreiber will be held on Tuesday, July 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Matthew Wiering will officiate.
A visitation will be held at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted on Monday, July 14th from 4-7 P.M. Further visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning, July 15th from 9:30-10:30 A.M.
