Janet Wyatt Obituary

Janet was a graduate of Iberia High School and Draughon's Business College in Springfield, Missouri. She spent many years living in Great Falls, Montana, where she was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. After retiring from Civil Service at Malmstrom Air Force Base in 2004, she returned to Missouri and built her home in Brumley, where she embraced the peace and beauty of rural life.
Janet found great joy in fishing, quilting, gardening, canning, and spending time outdoors. She had a deep love for her dog, Molly, but her greatest happiness came from time spent with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Corkrean (Mark) of Katy, Texas; her son, Mark Wyatt (Sara) of Denver, Colorado; and her cherished grandchildren, Brittney Wyatt, Cooper Corkrean, and Morgan Corkrean. She is also survived by her siblings: Gerald Duncan (Joyce) of Pacific, Missouri; Rick Duncan (Sue) of Versailles, Missouri; and Betty Davenport (Richard) of Brumley, Missouri.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Opal Duncan.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Please join the family for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Mount Union Church in Brumley, Missouri.
