Survivors include son, Kenny Bass, daughter, Mandy Abbott(David), grandchildren, Hayden Abbott(Gabi), Hadlee Abbott, Justin Bass(Alena), Levi Bass(Kayla), great-grandchildren, Brinley Abbott, Saylor Bass, Parker Bass, sister, Bonnie Bryant(Larry), brother, Donnie Townsel(Meredith), chosen daughter, Kenetha Burns, special friend, Regan Knight, along with several nieces and nephews.
Janice was born January 18, 1956 at Peeks Clinic to parents, Barnie Ray and Fannie Maxine Headrick Townsel. She was a 1974 graduate of Sylvania High School and had work at Buster Brown and Riverview Camp for Girls. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kenneth Bass.
