Janice Kay Henson, age 77, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville, Missouri.
She was born on July 29, 1947, in Miami, Oklahoma the daughter of Edward and Mildred (Bowsher) Jackson, who preceded her in death along with several aunts and uncles.
Surviving are her daughter, Tracy Cooper, and her husband Ben of Granby, Missouri; her grandchildren, Greg Swaffar of Bowling Green, Missouri, Erik Swaffar of Cassville, Missouri, Cole Cooper and his wife Arely of Wichita, Kansas, Grant Cooper of Wichita, Kansas, Erin Cooper of Goodman, Missouri and Peyton Cooper of Joplin, Missouri and four great grandchildren, Brendan, E.J., Riley and Adrian.
Janice grew up and attended school in Cassville, Missouri, where she graduated from Cassville High School. She was employed by Jumping Jacks as a stitcher for 15 years. After the company closed, she continued her career at Justin Boot, where she dedicated 39 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time at White Oak Station in Cassville, where she would often be found sharing stories and laughter with friends. Above all, Janice's world revolved around her family. Janice will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Blessing Heights Worship Center in Cassville.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Bowsher Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Brad Hudson and Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services.
