Jean Elaine (Mohr) Estill was born January 10th 1949 in Stuart, NE and Passed Away Peacefully at Parkside Manor on September 22, 2025 at the age of 76. She was surrounded by family, friends, and many loved ones that visited during the final few weeks.

From the beginning, Jean was a Rancher's daughter at heart and grew up with her Parents John and Eleanor and Sister Judy on the Mohr Ranch South of Atkinson. She was very active in 4-H and competed across a variety of equine, cattle, and craft events. During High School she was Queen at the annual Atkinson Hay Day's Celebration. In 1967, she was Crowned Miss Rodeo Nebraska where she won that title at the famous "Nebraska's Big Rodeo" in Burwell, NE. She competed for Miss Rodeo America in Las Vegas that same year.

Jean Married Jim Estill April 5, 1968, in Burke, SD. Initially, Jean split her time between Rancher, US Mail Carrier, and Mom. Later Jim and Jean owned Green Valley Irrigation in Atkinson, where she worked for several years alongside Jim. Over the course of everything, Jim and Jean Raised three sons, Jared, Jerry, and Justin Estill.

Upon retirement from the Irrigation Dealership, Jean spent much of her time doing a variety of activities. She was passionate about raising premium quarter horses, volunteering her time into the local church and community, cheering on Husker Volleyball, and loving her five grandchildren. Grandma Jean developed a keen eye for baking cakes and regularly created themed cake creations for her grandkids birthdays. From Ballerinas and Princesses to Baseball and Football players, her cakes were a thing of beauty. Jean and Jim were a staple at grandkids sporting events and various activities. During these activities Jean never met a stranger, quickly warmed up to anyone, and consistently inserted herself as self appointed team grandma and drink and snack coordinator.

Jean touched countless people in many ways throughout her lifetime. Jean is Survived by Husband Jim Estill, Sons Jared(Angie), Jerry, and Justin(Becky) and Grandchildren Makenna, Sydney, Davis, Jameson, and Kole, Sister Judy Densberger, and Nephews John(Meg), and Jake(Tarin). Jean is preceded in death by parents, John and Eleanor Mohr and Infant Sister Mary Louise Mohr.
