On July 6th 2025, Jean Lee Halliday VanStaveren left her earthly body and Joined her mother, Father, brothers and sisters in heaven. She is survived by her Husband, Art VanStaveren, Children, Holly Spafford, Stephanie Cash (Ed), Theo VanStaveren, Eric VanStaveren and Adopted Son Mac Marshall. Along with her 8 grandchildren Amy and Brandt Fortin, Katy and Dusty Martinez, Elizabeth (Lizzy) Tew, Elizabeth ( Elly) Vanstaveren, Erica Cash, Braxton Cash, Josh and Brittany Vanstaveren, Jordan and Kyia Vanstaveren, and 10 Great-grandchildren.
Jean lived on this earth for 80 years and had seen more than her fair share of life, but through it all she was able to keep her loving spirit. From the moment she started having kids, she never had an empty home. One of her children or grandchildren were living with her. There was never an empty nest for Jean. She welcomed everyone into her home with a hug and the spirit of acceptance and Love, whether it was a friend or spouse, she would never make them feel unwelcome, and she always treated them like her own.
Jean was the heart of her family-an anchor in every storm and a soft place to land for everyone who walked through her door. She didn't just create a home-she cultivated belonging. Jean's home wasn't just a building, it was a sanctuary, bustling with life, laughter, and generations of family. From parenting to grand-parenting, she left a legacy not just of people-but of love stories, inside jokes, meals shared, and shoulders leaned on.
Thou she is no longer with us in body, she is with us in spirit. Her love and generosity will live on in all the lives she touched.
