Jeanne Marie Adams was born November 8, 1954, in Boise, Idaho. She moved to Olympia, Washington, with her mother to be near her brother, Lee Reaves. Jeanne graduated from North Thurston High School and went on to work at Sears and then Albany International.
In 1977, Jeanne built a duplex, raising her two daughters in one half while her mother lived in the other. Side by side, they nurtured a home filled with laughter, love, and strength.
A passionate and active member of her community, Jeanne volunteered with Mended Hearts Thurston County Chapter, helped at Evergreen Forest Elementary, and taught English as a Second Language, supporting individuals in developing their reading, writing, and speaking skills. She was also a strong advocate for organ and tissue donation and spoke at events to raise awareness about its importance.
Jeanne loved spending time outdoors, whether working in her yard or setting off on new adventures. Her greatest joys in life were her daughters and her two grandchildren. She was known for her humor, contagious laugh, and remarkable strength.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Reaves; her brothers, Lee and Ron Reaves; and her beloved daughter, Sarah Wall.
She is survived by her oldest daughter Elishia (Greg) Harvill; her remarkable grandchildren Payton and Nolan Harvill; sisters-in-law Susie and Nancy Reaves, nieces Amy (Paul) Pemberton, Cristin (Craig) Wilson, Wendy (Tom) Bemenderfer, nephews Andy (Ericka) Reaves, Jason Reaves and her many dear friends who will cherish her memory always.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Jeanne's memory by making a donation to a charity of your choice. Some organizations that held special meaning to Jeanne include Mended Hearts, SightLife, and local food banks.
